Pastor Kevin says it's a pleasure to lead the community at Picton Free Methodist Church, along with a team of passionate, energetic people.
Prior to becoming Lead Pastor in July of 2012, he served at PFMC as Pastor of Worship and Arts for 7 years. Other full-time ministry experience includes a stint on the Leadership Team at United Christian Broadcasters (Canada) as the Mgr. of Corporate Communications, and as Executive Director of New Life Girls' Home.
He has 3 kids (well, kids might be the wrong word, adults now) and is enjoying life as a grandfather of two awesome boys! Pastor Kevin has been married to his wonderful wife, Karen, for 32 years. They make their home north of Picton, in Sophiasburgh.
He's passionate about introducing people to the hope found in Jesus Christ and, once they've found it, to help them grow up into enthusiastic, mature believers. He says "Imagine the impact we could have on the world, if we all lived a life 100% sold-out to the principles of a "Christ-centered' world!! There are so many powerful Scriptures, but his favourite is found in Micah 6:8: "What does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
